The Fleet
Fairwind CIH and MdR fleet information. Members progress from small daysailers to fully equipped cruising boats, all reserved online and ready to sail.
Fairwind has divided its fleet into three groups: small, medium and large boats. In addition, Fairwind has a number of stand up paddle boards, kayaks and dinghies located at Marina del Rey. At Channel Islands Harbor there are also kayaks and a Duffy boat.
Group 1 of 3
Small boats
Small boats are less than 27 feet long with outboard motors or with no auxiliary power.
Small boats include Capri and Catalina 22's. Also in our fleet are small Hobies, kayaks, paddle boards and 14' sailboats.
Group 2 of 3
Medium boats
Medium boats are 27 to 31 feet long with auxiliary power (usually with diesel inboard motors).
Our medium boats (27–31') are all cruise rated, with galleys and heads – ready for overnight adventures.
Group 3 of 3
Large boats
Large boats are more than 31 feet long.
Our large boats (32'–40') are great for longer cruises with multiple staterooms.
